THE ORIGIN

2018

It started with a welding helmet and a bad pizza.

Grega Ivančič wasn't chasing a business plan. He was chasing a perfect Neapolitan — the kind where the crust bubbles and chars in 60 seconds, the kind you only get in a real wood-fired oven. He couldn't find one he liked. So he built one. In his garage. In Ormož.

"I wanted the pizza I had in Naples. I couldn't afford a restaurant oven. So I made my own."

Proof of Concept

That first oven went into Grega's food truck, Pizza Fabrika - which quickly became one of Slovenia's most-loved pizza trucks. The oven was the product. People didn't just ask where the pizza was from — they asked where the oven was from.

The garage prototype

Grega builds the first oven by hand in Ormož. No investors, no product roadmap — just a welding helmet, a vision, and a very specific craving for Neapolitan pizza.

2019

Pizza Fabrika hits the road

The oven goes into Grega's food truck. Slovenians taste the difference immediately. The oven gets more attention than the pizza — which is how you know you've built something special.

2021

First production line, four people

Europe opens up

Glowen ovens start shipping across the EU and beyond. The Raptor and Dragon each find their audience — from home cooks to catering pros. The mission stays the same: give everyone access to real fire, real heat, real pizza.

No compromises on heat

480 °C minimum is non-negotiable. You can't make a Neapolitan pizza at 300 °C. We design every oven to reach and hold the temperature that real pizza demands.
